movies and friendliesmovie monday !
i woke up to kungfuuu panda cos my bro was like watching it on the com right beside me rather softly in the early morning
it's wow, there's really cool animation and sounds and it's a rather hilarious movie
i'm going to watch it again some time after blocks xD
po's training for food ftw haha
hmmm, what if there's kungfu ultimate? playing ultimate with kungfu moves just like uhhhh shaolin soccer or something. how cool will that be? =OO

anyway, i've been thinking about the movie and somehow i related it to ultimate.
some people may not look like much of a good player, but you'll never know until you give him a chance to shine. denying the individual that chance may not only be putting his potential to waste, but also changing his interest towards the game at the same time =/ that may very well be the first step to stopping him from becoming who he can be. you'll never know till you let everyone have a try at becoming a good player, becoming part of the team. those who are better shouldn't shadow their weaker peers while training together as well, i feel that'll be limiting their space to improve together as a whole. and lastly, everyone has different training styles which is most suited to themselves.
oh, and there's NOTHING, no secrets to being the best. no shortcuts no nothing, it's all hardwork and determination from how i see it =]
caught this at cine in the evening together with eld and xj, well, it's another one of those weird times when a few guys go out together to catch a romance movie haha. just like how four guys went to watch leaps years back in march. well, it's sorta a half comedy-half romance movie, but yeah, it's still about relationships.
the earlier part of the movie in vegas is totally retarded haha. you'll never expect to find yourself in a situation like they did.
liking someone is about liking who they are, nothing more. it's isn't about who you expect them to be, how you want them to behave or having he/she to like you back the way you feel that that should. be yourself and nothing else.
it'll be too late to realize that once you've lost that special someone to you, things do not always happen the same way twice.
it'll be good if we take a step back and look at our lives in a different view, probably from a third person perspective. perhaps, we'll only realize how happy our lives may really be and it's not as bummed as we think at times =]
ultimate friendlies on tuesday morning against ACJC
hc ultimate's first match against someone besides ourselves haha
i believe that it's a great experience for all of us, even for people at the sidelines almost all the time haha
going up against a team stronger than us is just thrilling haha, even if it was just a point for me
at least we did get to watch all three matches and learnt as much as we could from the different forms of plays and yeah, go "WOW" of cos
there's quite a number of great dives for the discs every now and then, finally, we're starting to go for it haha
no more diving only on high jump mats =O
personally, i think that the bottom line is to have all the fun you can have. winning isn't exactly everything haha.
will you be happy even if you win when everything in the game was screwed up for you and you did not enjoy the game, not that little bit of it?
