assembly was fun. that chinese new yr mv by mediacorp artiste. jeff huang and his pervetic look! funny lar... everyone laugh till wanna peng liao.en hao is getting smarter and smarter everyday.. 4H is absolutely being overwhelmed by his "intelligence".. read between the lines en hao.. *raises up my hand and puts it in front of his face*

second last trial for sec 1s today. only 2 new sec 1s.. argh this is bad.. intake of sec 1s this yr might not meet the target =/ there might also be a reduction of NCOs.. btr stop tinking so much.. felix! wad's your plan?!a gentle reminder for everyone, pls do not go omgwtfbbq or smth like that after you see this.

due to felix's "great" planning today, there was a group of 18 sec twos with nth to do during training today.. had to run between looking after the packing of room and the two sec ones that came today! stupid lor, they come today for wad? ==" dun even have trial today. lucky there was Randy who looked after them =Dbrought the sec twos to have recreational training at the side field. tancw didn't want them to be rotting around the room. volunteered to be goal keeper for them. all i did was save the ball and pump the ball up. pick the ball and pump the ball up again. it hurts pumping that uber hard ball bare-footed. felt sad for that sec two that got whacked twice. first in his arm and then between the legs about 3 mins later.
here's smth funny. while i brought the sec twos to have water break at the track room, we passed by the softball team. suddenly two guys shouted out to me.
two guys: hi sidney's gay fren!
me: hi..
two guys: you're sidney's gay fren right?!
me: err..

accompanied eld on 170 till his stop instead of stopping at shell station outside pei hwa today.was kinda reluctant at first, later, i was glad that i did follow eld..
said goodbye as i took 176 from the bus stop near his hse.
it was raining heavily this afternoon, hope eld didn't get caught in the rain. the rain became slighter after i had reached my stop. decided to go up the slope quickly before the rain becomes heavy again. looked up the slope and saw a man whom was quite a distance ahead of me. he had an umbrella, why didn't i bring one along in case?! sigh. the rain became heavier when i started going up the slope! zzz. it got heavier and heavier. i became totally wet in a matter of seconds. began to run up the slope. kept on running while i got wetter by each moment.. another hundred metres up the slope and i'll be at my condo. the rain was getting into my eyes so i ran with my eyes barely open. someone stopped me. it was the man who was ahead of me jus now. i could no longer feel the rain hitting me on my face. looked up and i saw the man with his umbrella sheltering both of us from the heavy rain.
man: are you ok?
me: err yar..
man: why didn't you bring umbrella? you're so wet now *passes me tissue paper*
me: thanks. forgot to..
man: where do you stay?
me: just up there..
man: *shelters me all the way to my condo*
me: thanks =D
man: remember to bring an umbrella next time =D *turns and walks off*
i was shocked initially, was wondering why did the rain suddenly stop. normally, someone, with an umbrella and is about fifty metres in front of me will jus continue walking up the slope quickly to get themselves out of the rain as fast as possible. but this man was different, he came back down the slope to shelter me, a complete stranger to him. he had displayed altruism, the quality of unselfish concern for the welfare of others , through his actions. he lent a helping hand to a stranger despite being able to benefit himself by being able to get out of the rain in a shorter time if he had continued going up the slope without turning back. i'm really grateful to this man. not only because he turned back to shelter me from the rain, but also because of the lesson i've learnt from him. lend a helping hand to others, even if they are strangers, if you able to.
watched him walk off into the distance before coming up.

happy 13th birthday to my bro..something which i've accomplished today and ought not to be proud of, i slept in esther cheong's geog lesson and did not get spotted.. if she had spotted me, i would have been dead..
went to weights room with linky and ck at 2.. did 90 pound lats again.. could do more than ytd.. stayed there for around 30mins before going to salt.. had our 3rd sec one trial today.. displayed the goal post which jang and i did built ytd.. had to tighten the net before bringing it out to parade square.. stupid lor, the ball could go through at first ==" anyway, we fixed it and the sec ones had fun playing soccer with it ._.
guess i got too self-centered this afternoon.. was pissed off with felix and marcus.. gahh.. its over le, don't talk abt it liao.. sry for being attitude..
there were 3 new sec 1s that came today beside 6 others who came last friday.. we promised them the goal post last fri, and they got it today.. we promised them a tent today and they're gonna see it next wed..
back to weights room again after sec 1 trials.. started doing 100 pounds though my arms were hurting already.. chiongggg!! could do quite a bit.. shldn't be doing that many lats actually.. being able to do so many means that i'm doing too little weight =/ taking a day off tmr.. going for 120 pounds this fri after CAPE.. anyway, everyone taking cape jy! SSG, SGT, CPL all jy!

a hot bathe after a tiring day feels soooo good..let's see, there's nth much to blog about class today.. nearly fell asleep zzz
went to pin up posters in the sec 1 classes again.. there's still 3 classes without posters.. they lock their classroom so early!! sigh..
try again next time..
went for a run with linky and kj after settling down at salt.. planned to run to kap and back again, but we didn't go very far today..
we ran from
salt centre -> namly ave -> namly crescent -> 6th avenue -> bukit timah road -> 7-11
went through namly for fun.. guess we could have gone further if we didn't run 2.4 ytd..
had lunch at 7-11! bought cup noodles and ate by the roadside.. kj only got a slurpee.. linky went for a second bowl, kj went for an ice-cream while i bought a 1 litre carton of orange juice.. spam drink orange juiceee.. walked all the way back to salt after lunch..
went to weights room after kj got pwned by linky in chess. i'm weak.. struggling with doing 90 pounds lats.. did about 6 sets of 10.. we saw this group of 3 hcjc guys and a ny.. they were playing cards in weights room lor ==" why didn't a pe teacher come in?! want to see wad happens if pe teacher sees them =x
started work on the goal post at around 5+.. jang and i built the goal post with some help from elson.. kj was having a hard time battling linky in chess while we were building haha.. finally completed it at around 6.30.. it doesn't look really nice, but its not too bad either.. first time jang and i tried building a goal post. at least its sturdy! =D
that's abt all for today.. nearly overslept again! woke up when the bus reached my stop.. chiong-ed down in time.. phew..

it has been raining since morning..its a cold day.. tink next mon gotta bring jacket to school liao..
tieu spent his period today talking to us.. found out how he really cares for all of us.. those ppl that do not appreciate and understand him can go bang their heads on the wall.. he really is a good teacher..
went for np after sticking posters at 10/15 sec 1 classes. got scolded by tancw for not having enuff posters.. zzz
got new chevron today.. btw elson, my SGT chevron is with melvin..
11 sec 1s turned up for trial today.. 5 pang seh us.. hope more will turn up next wednesday.. gotta get 42 cadets at least! to me, trial today was quite successful.. saw how pro adeline tan is at sweet talking the sec 1s to join npcc.. had quite a fun conversation with her and the 11 sec 1s..
began talking abt retribution for niao-ing elson and his A&A matters.. felix suffered retribution and i didn't.. or at least till we had dinner at KAP.. first i hit my drink and it nearly spilt.. zzz
saw large groups of JC students coming to KAP for dinner at 9pm++, orientation probably jus ended.. second retribution, overslept one stop in the bus.. had to walk back in the rain.. wet and cold..

zz the structure failed.. lashings became loose after we shifted it from the room to the field..
got frustrated.. tied the lashings again till i got rope burn on both my hands.. regretted using so much strength for the lashings.. made my hands hurt for nth.. told the sec 3s to bring down the structure later in the afternoon..
"great" trial today.. only 2 enthu sec 1s showed up.. realized how nooby we, the sec 1 NCOs, were after chee wee talked to us.. let's nt make anymore assumptions again..
went to weights room with felix, elson, sid and jia han and linky..
trained quite a bit.. muscles aching =/
mayb going again tmr.. see first.
after dinner, we met chao rong at the bus stop.. he's going for NS tmr.. he was a great CI.. taught us so much..

got a shock this morn. fritz vomitted twice.. nt really sure wad's wrong with him.. hope he gets well soon =Dhad the first chem practical for this yr.. everyone didn't complete in time, so copy here copy there =/
waited for felix in np room from 2.30 onwards..
slept on the sofa for an hour while jang went through all the boxes to look for that UOPA file..
marcus and i slept till whole back wet.. so hot!
after 1hr+ of searching, jang still couldn't find it..
elson finally came at 4.. still no felix..
chatted for another hour till 5 when felix finally came.. stupid HP..
got the AAR for orientation done and we're off for home..
