last day of august!teacher's day celebration is really nice this year. probably because of the fact that all the performances were done by sec 4s. great job sec 4s! much better than the past 3 years when there are games and stuff.
went back to phpps after the celebrations. sad lor =/ only met one of my teacher there this morning, the others left before i arrived. and there was only wei zhong, zhuo yan, shi min and myself from faith 6 that went back. gonna organize another gathering at the end of year.
accompanied eld after that and transferred to nan hua primary =X went there to stone and extra around with ee chuuuu. stoned for around an hour before going down to city hall.
we went back to peninsula shopping centre to get a classical guitar.
walked back to raffles place and i went to queue for donut factory haha. queued for two and a half hours =O
sooooooooo long for donuts, but its worth the wait actually. tastes really nice lar xD
really really really sweet.

paintball was fun =D5-10 minutes of shooting fun!
4H got to start first, so my team played the third match.
benjamin, weijie, jonyeo, desmond, me
vs
che jian, shou kee, sylvanus, en hao, matthew low
loads of fun shooting others with the paintball guns.
in some ways, its more fun than shooting .22s cos you get to aim at people and get to shoot faster =X
our match was that intense though, most of us were hiding quite a bit.
managed to take down the two targets and three people =D
didn't get hit yay! i thought i did though. later when i checked realized there's no paint on me, guess the paintball flew right by me.
quite a few people in our match didn't finish their 100 paintballs, what a waste =/
finished the rounds early so i began shooting air to scare them though it wasn't allowed =X
if there's another time, dun hum and chiong!
humming at the back spoils the fun, we didn't get to shoot en hao cos that was exactly was he was doing! -________-
i wanna go paintball again!

yay! we finally went to watch Bourne Ultimatum at AMK Hub=Dthe show totally rocks, really nice end to the bourne movies. really amazed by jason bourne's capabilities, imagine if there are really people like that around =O
certainly worth the watch.
went to watch people have dinner and zi-highed at the same time. spent nearly two hours there ._.
zi-highing is never boring xD
its lot of fun
damn, i'm feeling really tired again =/
glad that tomorrow will be slack, there's gonna be consortium assembly =]

had a small farewell party sorta thing at tuition this morning. ordered two pizzas and Roy brought drinks. goodbye to the RV girls and amelia.so there'll be about six of us left for september.

went to the national library at bugis to watch If There're Seasons.
it's a great performance. it showcases quite a number of songs by local singers over the years.
has a nice storyline with interesting twists as the story progresses like A Qiang =X
the ending was kinda like spreading the national education message though =/
i would rate it about 4.5/5 =D
went to peninsula plaza to look for a guitar with eld. searched the whole place but couldn't find a musical instrument shop...
then eld and i saw a peninsula shopping centre across the road -_______-
the guitar shops were at the basement of peninsula shopping centre and not peninsula plaza.
so eld got his acoustic guitar for less than $100 with a starter's guidebook and bag, quite a good deal.

noooo sabbac week has ended already! so fast, its too fast!had loads of fun though =D
this week of sabbac is our last sabbac for this year and also for the past four years.
glad that this sabbac was organized and ran by us and we're not the ones attending the sabbac, listening to others talk.
teaching isn't really as easy as it may seem, it's very stressful lor.
every group came up with a short performance this morning. some were really interesting while some were totally chaotic =X
sec ones made quite a number of new sculptures with their creativity also.
lots of laughter and all. great job sec ones!
great experience conducting a sabbactical for juniors =D

lightning finger came in for the first day for the balloon sabbactical, he's also coming again tmr and thurs. impressive trainer but not so impressive students =/ the sec ones took quite a while to learn how to sculpt correctly, hope they'll do better tmr.apple twist is hard >=/
went to swim in the afternoon. yay, like finally it's sunny. but it rained at 4 -_______- so had to end swimming earlier, but at least i swam for like an hour and a half =D

argh =/ the sudden rain the afternoon ruined my plans to go swim again. hope that the weather will get better soon...had sakae at lot one just now. haven had sushi for quite a while le. unagi, soft shell crab and cha sobaaaaa =D
my parents and i were watching The Eye 10 dvd just now. kinda scary watching it at this period of time right haha... not a bad show, not really scary though. about group of teenagers trying out the 10 ways to see ghosts.
sabbac week starts tmr! yay! a week of slack, a week without. come to think of it, working with them may be hard =//
they're a clique and i'm dun really mix with them often... wonder how things will turn out next week.

went over to beach road to eat the same store after sl again. too nice to resist =x
walked over to marina area after dinner for fireworks, third time this month. more proed guys popped out from nowhere when we were getting something at suntec and they're going to watch fireworks too. small world ._.
the area outside marina square was fully packed, can't even go out already lor. more crowded than the first time we watched during the NDP preview. scary crowd D=
so we began running up the floors of marina square to find a spot to watch the fireworks. settled with the area at the foodcourt on the third floor. so crowded there also, so many people were standing on chairs.
waited for like half an hour before the fireworks started, everyone there was like "ehhhhhhh why haven start one..."
so we decided to zi-high over there x] played the fireworks video that was taken during the actual NDP from esplanade there and got hongsheng to hold the camera up, looking like he was recording. then we zi-highed, pretending that the fireworks started and we were watching from the camera. some uncle from the back, who know we were faking, went to shout "EH! fireworks start liao!! look at that camera!!" then everyone turned over and look at the camera.

today's fireworks is alot nicer than the actual NDP. like the golden one that has lots of small explosions. the multi-coloured ones and the finale are great. didn't get to record the last bit of the display lor =[ memory card ran outta space, rawr!!!

17/08 was so packed, there's was like physics spa, projects day finals, passing out parade, squad outing. reached home at 11.45.so sry for screwing my part for the presentation ><>=/
however, still think that we should be able to get an a* bah =D

had our long awaited passing out parade in the evening, i rmb how we have looked forward to this day since months ago. had a proper parade this year, a change from previous years. but it's like kinda sian lor, waiting for around 31 sec four cadets going up one by one to get the certificate. it will be even longer for the following years x]
that was our last parade in npcc, marks the end of 3 and a half years of drills.
watched the photo montage that the secondary one 08 NCOs prepared. the songs are nice, later go download =x
cw and jang made their speeches and we had the hand over of duties. will get the hand over pics once i get it from lewis.
would like to thank the secondary two 08 NCOs, secondary one squad and taylor for their presents!!! they're really nice presents =D
had our last activity as a squad in front of the clocktower after the ceremoy at lt4. shook the hands of HO and CIs and pumped together as a squad for the last time. damn memorable lar, personally, all the pumpings we've be punished to do in the past is incomparable to those we did togther for the last time. OC gave our final drill command and we finally got to throw berets x] fun lor! can only throw after passing out from the unit. junior squads slowly wait for your turn...
secondary one NCOs had our last talk with the secondary one squad 07. i'll really miss them. taking their squad is loads of fun and its unforgettable lar. didn't get a chance to take them for term 3 =[
hope what we've said will leave an impact on them. it was our last opportunity to talk to them as NCOs of their squad...

There was this case in this hospital's Intensive Care ward where patients always died in the same bed on Friday mornings around 9am regardless of their age, gender, medical history or medical condition.
This puzzled the doctors and some even thought that it had to do with the supernatural: Why did death occur at that same bed around the same time every Friday?
So the doctors decided to go down to that particular ward to investigate the cause of the deaths.
Come Friday morning, everyone at the hospital ward nervously waited for the terrible phenomenon to occur again. The new (unknowing) patient laid there.
Some doctors held wooden crosses, prayer books and other holy objects to ward off evil...and they waited.
8am, the patient was still alive...
8.30am...still breathing...
Just before the 'cursed' time, the door to the ward swung open...
Then Ah Soh, the part-time Friday cleaner, comes in and unplugs the life support system so that she can use the vacuum cleaner!
