taekwondo room clean up crew !
the clean-up was organized by the quartermistress who ended up sick =[ haha, take care !
we condemned and discarded the old paddings which looks so dirty you wouldn't even think about putting it on =O
we made the current paddings look so much cleaner than before, so much that they kinda look like new ones
we wiped all 99 floor mats and sunned them all
we cleaned off all the random graffiti and nice drawings on the room walls
we zi-highed like mad while scrubbing the room floors and walls, did lots of retarded things along with kaijun and then felix later on
randomly squirting water onto the walls in all sorts of random ways xD
room clean up became a zi-highing activity cos of the FOCs ! friends of comm !
haha, now the room looks nice with the reorganized furniture and smell of disinfectant everywhere
no more musty smell and dusty floors !
yeah, be proud of all ten of us quartermistress !

HC Band concert was great ! gotta go now, shall blog more tonight ! byeee

overdue post from last saturday !HC Ultimate travelled up north to Sengkang to catch the Open League Series in action at the fields near the MRT station
look at how the guys were so into the game ! hahaha
watching the game with such interesting seats in bright coloured shirts =O
Shiok in white and Freak Show in green
their play is amazingly good. we were like exclaiming about the game most of the time.
the fakes were extremely fast and effective, they can bring their defenders down to the ground just that easily. wowww
layouts were quite zai too, how we wish we could like rewind and replay the whole game again haha. too bad it's just like live and right in front of us.
just a really good experience watching these teams play against each other.
there's a number of things that we can learn from watching the games too. wouldn't mind going down for more tournaments to watch other teams.

hmmm, decided to try out the handwriting analysis test which is linked from 08s6e's class blog.it's a rather accurate test =O

This character trait is a huge asset in careers like math, science, race car driving, and flying planes. However, if Jonathan writes tiny all of the time, he will also display characteristics of someone who is socially introverted. Jonathan is a cumulative and procedural thinker. He likes to have all the facts before making a decision. He thinks or creates much like a brick mason, stacking fact upon fact. Like that brick wall, Jonathan learns faster through visual demonstration than through quick verbal instructions. Once he has learned new material, and understood it, he won't forget.
Jonathan is a methodical thinker, therefore he is able to build things and come up with new ideas. In an argument, he often loses to rapid thinking people because he is thinking thirty minutes later about what he should have said. These people often are very booksmart, but can be out-gunned in a rapid fire verbal debate.
He may learn new ideas at a slower pace than other "less detailed" people, but once he gets it, he can handle repetition. Some people hate jobs with too much repetition, he can handle it better than most.
Jonathan is a practical person whose goals are planned, practical, and down to earth. This is typical of people with normal healthy self-esteem. He needs to visualize the end of a project before he starts. he finds joy in anticipation and planning. Notice that I said he plans everything he is going to do, that doesn't necessarily mean things go as planned. Jonathan basically feels good about himself. He has a positive self-esteem which contributes to his success. He feels he has the ability to achieve anything he sets his mind to. However, he sets his goals using practicality-- not too "out of reach". He has enough self-confidence to leave a bad situation, yet, he will not take great risks, as they relate to his goals. A good esteem is one key to a happy life. Although there is room for improvement in the confidence catagery, his self-perception is better than average.
Jonathan is sarcastic. This is a defense mechanism designed to protect his ego when he feels hurt. He pokes people harder than he gets poked. These sarcastic remarks can be very funny. They can also be harsh, bitter, and caustic at the same time.
Something is incomplete in Jonathan's life. He feels frustration relating to his physical needs and desires. Somewhere in his life there is some disappointment, non-fulfillment, and interruption. This is very likely to relate to Jonathan's sexual needs.
Jonathan has a healthy imagination and displays a fair amount of trust. He lets new people into his circle of friends. He uses his imagination to understand new ideas, things, and people.
Jonathan has a very unusual lower zone y loop. If the data input is correct, Jonathan's y or g is large and has triangle shape to the lower loop. oh yeah, finally found the time to watch Ironman on tuesday ! the storyline was more of how Tony Stark became ironman and not that much of him as ironman itself, sooo it wasn't exactly very very thrilling. but there was quite a bit of action =] i'm totally amazed by the part when he gets into the armour and when he's in it, the graphics are really good ! the building of the armour and colour of it is just cooooool also !
come on ironman sequel ! i wanna see war machine too ! =D
basketball cheering today was remarkable in a sense. great job 35th ! =]
wasn't an easy task for us today but we managed to get the crowd going.
the girl's match was just great, a 16 points comeback in late 3rd quarter and 4th quarter.
it's extremely fun watching them fight back while we get really high cheering them on.
it's just a 'wow' feeling inside when you watch them successfully make a comeback, taking the lead, turning the tables against the opponents.
congrats to both guys' and girls' basketball teams for clinching double golds and both MVPs. =]

i've seen and heard the most number of aeroplanes flying right overhead in a day over the past couple of days during council camphaha, there's like one plane every five minutes
did a number of things that i've never tried before and i really enjoyed doing it
- ke bah bah-ing people while flying down a zipline
- capsizing in a dragonboat
- zi-highing together with so many others at every little thing
- bbq-ing by the beach with a wonderful sea breeze that doesn't stop
yup yup, camp experience, whole lot of fun over two days. xD

headed down to esplanade to watch the tkd people perform their patterns there.
performing there trains them to focus under the pressure of people watching, just like how it'll be during the pattern competition that is not that far away.
and there seemed to be alot of skinny jeans around ytd. what the shit... it's like there's one when you look in every direction -___- arghhhh
i hate those, especially those extremely bright coloured ones. lime green, pink, yellow, what the hell man.
oh oh, and there was this nerd guy, thick black specs with a bowl cut hairstyle, who walked by and his skinny jeans was half red-half black......

frisbee training ! nearly kua-ed with both my thighs cramping during the run. ouch.
slightly more painful with more physical exercises but it feels good =]
we're on our way to winning !

oh, tuesday was Ben n Jerry's free cone day as well ! so many people rushed down to town just to grab a couple of free cones. we didn't, we do not get tempted by ice cream ! haha.

we rock, seriously did. although Apollo bagged both awards again, most Athenians did have fun i guess =]

really great job Wilson and Matthew for making this year's combined sports meet really different for Athena !
going in front of the other three faculties to cheer, followed by a walk about the track. it definitely grabbed alot of attention for us =X
although it was kinda retard, but it did leave an impact for sure. combined sports meet wasn't just about sitting down, cheering all the way only on wednesday, the new ideas from the faculty heads made it more than that.

labour day was basically spent on a couple of hours of frisbee back in school, having lunch and dinner and sleeping x___X
not to forget, getting burnt under the hot sun. argh, daniel didn't come for training.
Friday
tkd games planned by the exco nominees. the whole event was rather well done, everyone did have quite a bit of fun =]
i suffered from Marshophobia for the night though. [do not trying wiki-ing for this phobia]
Marshophobia - The extreme fear of Marshmellows
there was a competition to see how many marshmellows you can stuff in your mouth during post-dinner entertainment, it seemed really challenging so i went up there to try along with yize and a couple of others. yize and i didn't win though.
after getting 7 marshmellows in, yize and i were like "shit we can't get anymore in already" despite that, i decided to go for it and i tried squeezing the 8th marshmellow into my mouth. at this crucial moment when it was nearly in, the 1st marshellow moved deeper into my mouth, getting stuck at my throat. all the #!%&*)#(!nb@% words rushed through in my mind as the marshmellow was killing me. fortunately, i managed to get the marshmellow back out of my throat by swinging forward a couple of times. but guess what, that wasn't the end. with the 8th marshmellow back in my hand after failing to get it into my already stuffed mouth, i tried to say "shit" and the horror i just experienced happened yet again. i was choking on the marshmellow again ! what the shitttttt... argh, glad that i didn't die to the 7 marshmellows.
guess who managed to stuff the most marshmellows into his mouth? needless to say, its the one who makes the most noise during training of cos. its only logical that way right. biggest mouth, biggest sound maker, biggest attention seeker, biggest ..... haha
