friday trainings have taken a 180% change from those in term 1 and 2..yes it is kinda fun, but to be honest..
it isn't as fun as before and i hate it even though i don't appear to..

teocm popped by touch today.. saw her talk to gladys for a while.. later told me that she wanted to see us back in school on tuesday.. sounds bad =/
had prata for dinner AGAIN! lincoln's addiction.. chocolate and banana prata looks o_O
its not really nice place to eat at.. ordering is so difficult and we'll get the wrong things -_-
went for Let's Stop at 4, English Drama Club production, in school drama centre.. its kinda fun identifying and commenting on people coming in =x
quite a number of guys we know brought their "fren" along =O
oh yar there was also this one girl whose flowers were like 90% leaves and 10% flower.. around 4 big leaves and one tiny thin flower in the middle.. looks extremely weird as compared to the other types of flowers there were..
the show was great! each of the four stories were unique and enjoyable in different ways.. Ministry of Emotions was my favourite i guess =x

the rest of 4H didn't really perform much or do anything..
got mediatech to turn off the audi lights except for the stage and we were positioned around the audi with glowsticks

went to keppel bay tower to collect my camera from the canon service centre after lessons with kj and lincoln.. had to rush back to do ugbc arr, if not i would have stayed at habourfront..

went to school in the afternoon to help with sec three's PIR assessment.. had to take them for topography and orienteering.. its fun being a tester xD
funnier watching them try the orienteering course that i set.. there were some miscommunication about the number of steps so no one got it right.. but some of them went so far off..
couldn't stay to test them for fire-lighting.. had to leave for changi!
went over to changi with eld and kj for Touch Young Arrows chalet.. hard to get there lor, esp in the night.. suppose to stop at the ferry point bungalows but we overshot till changi bungalows.. we were lucky that there was one of the aloha changi staff that was going over to ferry point to do patrol so we took a ride in his car =]
the 4D group were at the chalet also =O quite a large number of people at the bungalows..
satays, otahs and chicken wings made my cough worse only =/
played the 2 circle wacko.. people on the outer circle have to shout someone else's name when his partner in the inner circle is called.. fun sia.. the girls were screaming non-stop lor.. all so kan chiong when their partner got called..
left the ferry point bungalows at 10.30.. had to wait for the stupid 29 again.. everyone else had a car or hitched a ride in someone else's lor =/ reached tampines interchange at around 11.15.. took the last, or probably second last 67 all the way.. was already past 12.30 when i alighted.. still got to walk back 3 bus stops cos no more bus service to the stops near my house liao..
rahhh tired tired.. tmr gotta chiong hw!!

its just two more months to the end of our lives in HCI NPCC and mine freaking screws up..lost almost everything i have in this part of my life.. no one else to blame but my own incompetence.. well, just have to take all these as a learning point for myself then.. making mistakes is part of the learning process.. no point crying over it even more cos nothing will be restored..
all three and a half years of experience in this cca has to end with such an ending..
all the effort that i've put in before and after our batch has taken over has been wiped away, but the results might still remain.. i do not know if it would..
i do agree with jang that this cca, and even this school, emphasizes on achievement instead of effort..
exco 06-07 do not have as much autonomy as those above, and neither will future excos.. even if they are not like what they say, we can't do anything to change them.. well, we just have to accept them as they are..
well, i've gotta move on.. NPCC doesn't rule my life, its just a part of it.. just have to settle with a smaller part of it..
but hey, all the other parts of this life still remain unchanged! life can still go on =D
leave it all behind!

Friday, 15 June 2007UGBC Finals! this event was successful, however, we could have done much better..
stressed once i reached school.. rush this rush that.. first screw up, jasper and i forgot to bring umbrellas!
got onto the bus and travelled to occ.. later found out that HO suppose to follow our bus cos he didn't know the way -_-
second screw up, some name tags were missing!
no problems set up of the occ bowling alley.. phew~
unfortunately it rained! dammit.. had to run around orchid country club finding somewhere to borrow umbrellas from.. in the end only managed to get one from the hotel reception.. had to make do with those smaller umbrellas that belonged to sec 3s..
then came the big problem.. there were five teams switched in totally new players that were not registered.. caused quite a bit of confusion and argument regarding these teams.. in the end, it was decided that the new players will not get to play, teams had to make do with the players that have registered.. that put chuan khim's team outta the finals already.. being short of 2 games is like losing 200 points or more already.. too bad for their team..
Ms Charis Wong, Head Uniformed Groups, Education Programme Division, Ministry of Education was our guest-of-honour.. quite a nice person, she came for our event =]
received her at the carpark with cw.. roll-ed off the second game with a strike =O must have mugged bowling before hand xD
the friday weekly photographer had quite a hard time making sec 3s go high for his photos.. they were suppose to post like super enthu supporters.. you can't force ppl to go high..
had reception at aranda lounge.. atmosphere wasn't there lor.. no one clap one.. only our table with sec fours and CIs -_-
ACS (I) Scouts won boys' team championships and they leave immediately after getting their trophy.. wth lor.. dun even stay to take photo with guest-of-honour.. zzz
debrief was kinda a screwing session for the organizing committee.. heck lar.. screw up then screw up lor.. and she so kindly tells all the sec threes the mistakes we make and make herself seem so damn important.. pls lar.. -_-
anyway, i would like to thank the committee for putting effort into this event.. would like to thank calvin soon for guiding me along from the start.. i'm not someone who makes comparisons, you were great =]

yay! finally one day of slack after a week of work..had to go back to school this morning to fax a few letters for ugbc.. can't sleep in =[
went over to habourfront with eld in the afternoon to meet teh family..
bought 6 tickets at vivo for Men in White, 鬼阿﹗鬼阿﹗at 6.55,
had sakae at habourfront! ate so much today.. there were 7 of us initially, including judy.. but she left earlier around 4, so yar, left with 6.. we ate more than 68 plates i tink.. correct right? ._.
the table beside us challenged us to a competition lor.. they had 6 guys and we had 4 girls and 3 guys -_-
went over to keppel building to get my camera fixed before going to the open space at 3rd floor of vivo..
Men in White is quite a funny movie.. alot of random stuff.. laooo saiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~
it's worth more than the 1 star ratings it received in yahoo..

Unit Camp 2007 was more of a fun camp to let cadets from sec 1-3 interact rather than train.. an exact opposite of the camps we had last year..day one, wednesday
managed to resolve the issue with him in the morning..
it was kinda unexpected, i didn't get roared at..
accompanied the Sec Ones to Road Safety Park along with kala
it was rather lame there.. one of the presenters was damm amateur..
sec ones did a test for their badge and a survey about the course..
its those kind of common sense test.. if any of the sec ones fail they must be ...
there's still entertainment from kala there xD
and ivan szeto some how became her god-son haha
elson and i talked to the sec ones at night.. telling them about our goals and expectations for them.. hope they would rmb our words instead of thinking it's all just a pile of crap..

day two, thursday
sec 1-3 squads went to sungei buloh wetland reserve for some trail, leaving quite a few sec fours and CIs stoning in the rooms..
this day became scouting day for me.. went to beach road in the late morning to look for the printing shop that HO wanted.. but it was closed! -_-
wasted so much time going down there and coming back to school lor..
not even half an hour in school after coming back from beach road, i went out to queensway shopping centre to look for more printing companies..
dropped by coro on my way back to school to check there as well.. ended up buying bubble tea for everyone..
elson and i played captain's ball with all the groups that came by.. both of us some how became part of the captain's ball station.. elson is teh imba blocker =O
sec 1-3 played hwachong venture in the night.. didn't help to facilitate this so dno much about it =]
sec ones had their solo night! told them about our experience just in front of the library.. its rather fun sharing with them..
sec fours and CIs spilt into groups to take care of different areas..
marcus, yi ding, elson and i took clock tower and kah kee hall =O
banana ice kachang!
the sec ones this year are extremely scared lor.. 5 mins after we finished planting the 12 at clock tower and kah kee hall, the first few that we planted already started shouting ATTAPCHI BOLIAO! that's suppose to be the code that they shout IF they feel that their lives are being threatened.. turns out that all the sec ones around the school shout it for every small little thing lar -_-
a pebble drops near them they shout.. a little bit of sound they also shout -_-
there was 26 ATTAPCHI BOLIAOs from an area in 5 minutes lor.. nubzorz sec ones..
the solo night session became like a night PT session for sec fours and CIs lar.. had to keep running around to find the sec ones that are shouting for help..
a couple of the sec ones hallucinated really badly lor..
the sec ones really don't have much guts in them..
getting freaked out so easily.. besides, what we shared with them was only a portion of what the sec fours and CIs have heard before lor..
what's worse, they claimed that solo night wasn't scary and it was boring during the debrief this morning -_-
we slept at about 4 lor..
day three, today
most of the sec fours skipped PT again to sleep haha..
last session of captain's ball with the cadets..
cleared up the rooms and home sweet home!
had a super long lunch at poolside.. waited so long for the food lor.. by the time it came, some of us already drink can drinks till full liao lor.. he treated all of us xD
nearly emptied the whole of my wallet when felix and i went to settle the challenge trophies and UGBC shirt at queensway.. reached home in the evening lor.. we broke camp at 11 leh..

anyway, UGBC Prelims went rather ok.. can't say that its great..
good job all lane marshals, lane coordinators, competition orderlies and registration personnel.
3 outta 8 Hwa Chong NPCC teams made it into the top 10 teams that will be competing again in the finals.. all the best!

june chalet!!
had a really fun time there!
we played amazing race after the intro..
was in Team 1 with Justin, Joselyn, Jun Kiat and that da jie of Sanctuary (forgot her name haha)
not bad lar, we finished 2nd, after sasa's team xD
quite an interesting amazing race.. the clues and riddles weren't those typical types..
went out for dinner at burger king with more people that came after the amazing race ended.. kena shing-ed by a girl with her balloon sword there ._.
girl: *attacks me with the sword*
me: oh shit.. owwwww.. dying already..
girl: *stares at me O_O*
guess she didn't realize that i was laming around..
judy, joselyn and zonn had to leave after dinner.. sad =[
can't play games together throughout the night..
sent them to the bus stop and went back to chalet again..
guan brought red wine! shared with everyone and i had 1/3 cup of it..
started to play zhong ji mi ma with mallory, ver, ivy, mong, eld.. mallory is super hyper ._.
